MAX Academy: A Pathway to Resilience

The Metro Atlanta eXchange for Workforce Solutions (MAX) is hosting MAX Academy: A Pathway to Resilience on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Atlanta Technical College’s Auditorium.
Many of our neighbors have experienced some form of trauma during their lifetimes. Sometimes such experiences can have a significant impact on whether they are able to be resilient and reach their productive potential as members of our workforce.
Through our next MAX Academy, we will explore the concept of psychological safety as a tool to help build resilience in the clients you serve. We will explore the four stages of psychological safety and how you can create it when working with those who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). And we will discuss how you can build a culture of trust and open communication and effectively integrate psychological safety into your trauma-informed practices with your clients.
