MAX Talks with Amazon
The Metro Atlanta eXchange for Workforce Solutions (MAX) is hosting MAX Talks with Amazon on Wednesday, August 27th, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at ATL2 Amazon.
Amazon has long been a highly impactful partner in metro Atlanta and Georgia’s economic development landscape, accounting for an estimated 34,000 jobs and $18.5 billion in investments within the State of Georgia, according to company records. The multinational conglomerate’s footprint in Georgia includes 22 fulfillment and sortation centers. ATL2 Amazon is the company’s Stone Mountain Fulfilment Center, a robotics sortable facility which, according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, spans 640,000 square feet or the size of 14 football fields.
