The National Conference for State Legislatures (NCSL) is hosting an ASLCS 2024 Professional Development Seminar starting Sunday, September 29th through Thursday, October 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown.
The American Society of Legislative Clerks and Secretaries (ASLCS) is hosting its annual professional development seminar for principal clerks and secretaries and their staffs. This year’s meeting takes place in Manchester, N.H., and aims to bring together U.S. and international participants to learn important skills and procedures, build relationships, and take away new tools and ideas to enhance the effectiveness of state legislatures. This year’s conference is organized under the themes of maintaining legislative decorum in a time of disruption and keeping mentally fit in a disruptive environment.
