The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) is hosting a webinar on Federal Election Security Funding: Considerations for States in a Shifting Landscape on Friday, July 18^th, starting at 2:00 PM.

Across the country elections are mostly run at the local level, but in recent years, state and local election offices have received significant support from the federal government. This has included federal grant funds for technology and security improvements and services from the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency (CISA) to help bolster cybersecurity and physical security. With recent cuts in staff and funding across the federal government, what is the status of this assistance and what are states doing to take on some of this work?
