The National League of Cities (NLC) is hosting a virtual Government in Action Fireside Chat: Family Economic Stability for Child Well-Being on Thursday, September 19th, from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM.
Economic stability is one of the strongest predictors of long-term well-being for young children and families. Cities are at their best when we recognize that our children are our greatest resource. When families with young children have equitable access to opportunities that help them build economic security, it not only lifts the whole economy but guarantees stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities for generations to come. Join us to hear how local and state governments are working together to address and mitigate the current and future impacts of economic stability on populations such as pregnant women, infants, and toddlers in their communities.
