And in today’s globalized world, even local employers that do not directly operate abroad increasingly confront international employment issues (overseas telecommuting, for example). This fast-paced session offers an overview of all the HR issues that cross national borders―opening an overseas office, hiring foreign-based workers or engaging international contractors, HR professionals operating in a global context, and global work rules, handbooks and codes of conduct.
