WorkforceGPS: A Review of TEN 23-23 on Quality Pre-Apprenticeships

WorkforceGPS is hosting a webinar on A Review of TEN 23-23 on Quality Pre-Apprenticeships on Wednesday, July 10th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This webinar will provide a brief overview of the scope and characteristics of quality pre-apprenticeship programs as explained in Training and Employment Notice (TEN) 23-23. The webinar will also feature presentations from well-regarded practitioners who will share their experiences and recommendations for strengthening linkages between pre-apprenticeship and Registered Apprenticeship. TEN 23-23, Quality Pre-apprenticeship Programs was released in March of 2024 and replaces previous guidance on pre-apprenticeship programs released by the Department in 2012. While not regulated by the Office of Apprenticeship (OA), the Department recognizes the value and efficacy of the pre-apprenticeship model and therefor welcomes the opportunity to share guidance and recommendations in support and promotion of pre-apprenticeship programming and subsequent linkages to Registered Apprenticeship.
