WorkforceGPS is hosting an Industry Awareness Webinar: Exploring Healthcare Pathways for YouthBuild Programs on Tuesday, June 3rd, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Healthcare is one of the most popular Construction Plus (C+) pathways among U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) YouthBuild programs, and for good reason: overall employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow 11.2% from 2022 to 2032 — four times faster than the average for all occupations. It can be hard to keep up with this rapidly expanding sector, but we can help! This webinar will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about healthcare both as an industry and as a viable C+ pathway. You will learn about the certifications and credentials for jobs within the healthcare field, in-demand positions, career pathways and partnerships, and more. Attendees will hear from DOL YouthBuild grantees successfully implementing this pathway, as well as Healthcare Career Advancement Program (H-CAP), a subject matter expert in the industry.
