WorkforceGPS: Understanding Cost Allocation

November 14 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

WorkforceGPS is hosting a webinar on Understanding Cost Allocation on Thursday, November 14th, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Proper cost allocation is essential for effective financial management and decision-making. Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), there are specific rules and processes that grantees must follow when structuring cost allocation plans for staff and programs. Federal Project Officer, Trevor Capon, will provide information to help grantees apply cost allocation standards. This webinar will provide information on distribution of costs and methods for cost distribution requirements under Subpart E Cost Principles – 2 CFR 200.400, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards – 2 CFR 2900, and 20 CFR 683.215. Trevor Capon is a Federal Project Officer at the Employment and Training Administration, U.S. Department of Labor, and is responsible for a diverse portfolio of grants in the northeast region of the United States, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
