Through MAX Talks, MAX seeks to provide opportunities for workforce developers to hear directly from employers about their current and emerging workforce needs. MAX Talks features the employers voice on industry changes, employee recruitment and retention, in-demand skills, worker experience, workplace quality, and more.
FORMAT
MAX Talks is a lunch-n-learn series. Each session is hosted and moderated by a MAX board or advisory council member. Sessions can focus on a single employer or include more than one employer from a shared industry. The presentation by the speaker(s) can run up to 45 minutes. The balance of the time is spent on a Q&A discussion.
MAX Talks events are held at employer or workforce partner sites.
AUDIENCE
Attendees represent chambers of commerce, community-based nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher learning, local workforce boards, government agencies (local, state, federal), private trainers, and workforce intermediaries. Businesses and other employers are also often represented.
