Arona Elk
MISSION
Arona Elk provides orientation and mobility services to teach people with visual impairments to understand their environments and learn how to travel safely through them. Clients are taught how to maintain or increase their level of independence. This may include learning long cane techniques to protect them as they walk indoors and outdoors. Advanced orientation and mobility techniques include stair and escalator travel in addition to intersection analysis and navigation of buses and trains.
