Connecting Communities and Families

MISSION

Connecting Communities and Families (CCF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities, particularly those who are underserved. We focus on offering essential services such as digital literacy, workforce development, financial literacy, and case management to help individuals in our community reach their fullest potential.

POPULATIONS SERVED

Adult Population

  • Dislocated Workers
  • Individuals seeking to secure a better job
  • Individuals without a high school diploma or GED
  • Returning citizens (previously incarcerated)
  • Unemployed individuals
  • Welfare recipients required to enter the workforce

Eligibility Restrictions

Connecting Communities and Families (CCF) serves individuals and families who meet one or more of the following criteria:
Income Level: Low- to moderate-income (LMI) individuals, as determined by household income or eligibility for government benefits such as Free/Reduced-Price Lunch, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or SNAP (Food Stamps).
Justice-Involved Individuals: Adults and youth re-entering the community from incarceration.
Foster Care Alumni: Young adults aging out of foster care.
General Eligibility: Residents seeking digital literacy, financial literacy, workforce readiness, and wraparound services that support housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Participants do not need to meet all of these criteria — eligibility is based on meeting at least one category. There are no fees for participation, and individuals may self-refer or be referred by community partners, government agencies, or housing/service providers.
