MAC’s Educated Workforce Council strives to deliver workforce solutions by aligning our workforce development efforts with education initiatives for a lasting impact. By engaging and partnering with schools, our investors help improve their long-term skill and workforce needs. MAC engages across the education spectrum from early childhood education, K-12, and post-secondary and technical training. The pipeline from our K-12 schools to the more than 70 colleges and universities in the region is rich with opportunities and provides a natural link to our workforce development initiatives. The Council works hand-in-hand with the MAC Workforce & Education Partners – a group of public sector and non-profit organizations with workforce and education as their primary focus – to further our goals in a strategic, coordinated way.
