Our House, Inc.
MISSION
Our House’s Child Development Associate (CDA) program empowers and equips homeless participants with the skills needed to work in the growing childcare sector. We provide free training which enables participants to earn the national Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, which is currently the minimum requirement for any lead Pre-K teacher in Georgia. The CDA program consists of 120 hours of classroom instruction and 400 hours of a paid internship. While most CDA training programs take up to a year to complete, Our House has developed an efficient model which allows participants to complete the course in just five months. Partnering with other NAEYC accredited centers, Our House is training our future early childhood education work force.
