Profile Institute of Barber-Styling opened June 5, 1989, after becoming licensed by the Georgia State Board of Barbers. It has been in continuous operation since the date of opening under its founder and director, Curtis McGee.  Since opening, the school has graduated students from communities throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area and the State of Georgia, as well as some border states.  Many of the graduates have opened their own barber businesses and have proven to be successful. The Institution is a community-based training facility, and has been in the same location since its creation. Profile Institute of Barber-Styling continues to be committed to its students and the Atlanta community.
