MAX JOB BOARD: Year Up Greater Atlanta Seeks Development Manager for Fundraising Team

September 29, 2019

Reporting to the National Campaign Director, the Development Manager will manage a diverse portfolio of local donors and play a critical role in the rapid growth of Year Up to serve more students. The Development Manager’s fundraising portfolio will consist of current and prospective individual and institutional donors, with a focus on individual donors. The Development Manager will work closely with the local ED and the regional fundraising staff to create and assess strategies to exceed a personal fundraising goal and meet our local fundraising need.

As an ideal candidate, you will bring experience balancing multiple priorities, and will have demonstrated high initiative and the ability to work independently with external parties. In order to be successful in this role, you will have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and will be able to interact with staff and stakeholders at all levels, showing resourcefulness, flexibility, and a high level of professionalism. The Development Manager will have the opportunity to deepen his or her experience with high-level relationship management and organizational stewardship.
