CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPERS

MAX JOB BOARD: Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) Seeks Disability Claims Adjudicators

February 14, 2021

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) is seeking Disability Claims Adjustors. Applicants with medical billing, medical coding, or medical claims analysis experience are encouraged to apply.

Specifically, because of the need for experience with medical terminology, applicants who have experience in the following areas may be good candidates:

  • Medical billing/coding
  • Medical claims entry and analysis
  • Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Medical Assistants

An applicant must have at least two years of experience in the above areas or be certified with the equivalent of a two-year certification. This satisfies the requirement on the job posting of “two years of years of experience interpreting and applying laws regarding program eligibility.” The job is technical in nature, and incumbents are required to review large amounts of data and enter it into the computer. The training is extensive, and the Adjudicator 1 starts out at $33,000/year.

Special thanks to Gwinnett Technical College for providing information for this job post.
