MAX Talks with Advanced Manufacturing Leaders to Explore Ever-evolving Workforce Needs

June 27, 2021

Many industries are adopting new and more advanced technologies, and the manufacturing industry is no different. This industry shift creates a huge demand for engineering talent to innovate products or processes and skilled labor to make the advanced functions work.

Learn from industry leaders about their perspectives on workforce needs and industry trends and how workforce providers in Metro Atlanta can help! Joining MAX will be representatives with ALPLA, a world leader in the development and production of plastic packaging solutions; Thermo Pac, an industry leader in portion control, shelf-stable food processing; and CKS Packaging, a nationwide manufacturer and supplier of plastic containers headquartered in Atlanta.

  • Lloyd Martin, Vice President, CKS Packaging
  • Maritza Gilmore, Lead of Corporate Social Responsibility, ALPLA
  • Heath Alloway, Senior HR Manager, ALPLA
  • Kayte Edelen, HR Manager, Thermo Pac, LLC

In addition to hearing about the ever-evolving workforce needs in advanced manufacturing, we’ll have the opportunity to hear about CKS Packaging’s “Second Chance” initiative across the country.

Join us on Wednesday, June 30th, 11:30 AM, for a virtual and timely conversation with these major employers.
