MAX RESOURCE LIBRARY: Career Technical and Adult Education Resources from the Georgia Department of Education

The Georgia Department of Education offers a number of valuable resources to help employers and workforce developers better understand the talent pipeline developed through Georgia’s high schools. For example:

  • The Georgia Department of Education’s online portal, Georgia’s Career Pipeline, is provided to assist Georgia businesses locate local young talent with the skills needed for the field or industry. Businesses can use this information to make decisions concerning growth, development, and workforce needs. Click here to access.
  • The Georgia Department of Education provides the profile of a Georgia Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) graduate through an online flipbook to help employers better understand how graduates are equipped to: be workplace ready, demonstrate academic and technical skills, communicate effectively, solve problems, collaborate purposefully, and act responsibly.   • The 2019-2020 Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Annual Report is produced through the Georgia Department of Education. This website contains statistics and information on the accomplishments and approaches to delivering CTAE in Georgia. Click here to access.

ABOUT THE MAX RESOURCE LIBRARY

The MAX Resource Library is a central clearinghouse for reports, studies, data tools, websites, online portals, and other sources of information related to workforce development to keep workforce partners informed. From data on workforce trends and barriers to the latest on the skills gap and economic mobility, a wealth of information is at your fingertips through this clearinghouse. Resources can be added to the MAX Resource Library through the recommendation of MAX members. The MAX Data Council serves oversees and informs the ongoing development of the MAX Resource Library.
