MAX MINUTES

MAX Minutes to Feature Insights from Policy Experts on 2022 Legislative Session and What It Means for Workforce

April 9, 2022

Now that the 2022 Legislative Session is behind us, we have the opportunity to do a debrief on changes in workforce policies and how these changes impact the work we do in workforce development. In the 2022 session, legislators have considered issues such as employee work hours, professional licensing, curricula and training programs, and registered apprenticeships. What were the policy wins of 2022? What should we begin to anticipate for 2023?

Joining MAX to answer these and other questions will be Tim Cairl, Senior Director – Educated Workforce, Metro Atlanta Chamber, Jasmine King, Director of State and Federal Affairs, Georgia Chamber, and Ray Khalfani, Policy Analyst – Worker Justice / Criminal Legal Systems, Georgia Budget and Policy Institute (GBPI).

Join MAX on Friday, April 29th, 9:00 AM for a timely and virtual conversation.
