Administered through the Technical College System of Georgia’s Office of Workforce Development, the WorkSource Georgia Portal now serves as Georgia’s labor exchange system. The portal offers a complete set of employment tools for job seekers in Georgia and includes the state’s job board for employers to use when recruiting employees. The WorkSource Georgia Portal replaces Employ Georgia as the official online tool for enrolling in employment services with the Georgia Department of Labor, a requirement for requesting unemployment benefits. In addition to accessing a job board with more than 300,000 openings, job seekers can create a resume, learn about how their skills match with specific occupations and careers, and learn about education and training programs.
Employers can post job openings, review resumes, obtain labor market information, and seek recruitment assistance. Employers can also find information on specific training providers, schools, and programs, including programs approved for financial assistance through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The portal also connects workforce partners with labor market information such as employment and wage data, data on occupational demand, and more.
