As an extension and evolution of our commitment to provide high-quality professional development and network-building opportunities for our members, MAX is launching a competitively selected, cohort-based leadership development program known as Leadership MAX (L-MAX).
L-MAX is a leadership development program designed especially for existing and emerging leaders in the workforce development field. L-MAX will be comprised of a combination of full-day, field trip, and retreat style learning opportunities and projects over the course of a year.
The inaugural L-MAX program will run from January through December 2025.
MAX is now seeking applications for our 2025 L-MAX class! A few things to note:
- L-MAX will include full-day, field trip, and retreat style learning opportunities and projects over the course of a year.
- L-MAX is for emerging, existing, and seasoned leaders a like.
- Our first cohort will be comprised of 20-30 professionals of diverse backgrounds.
- Content-specific Learning Days will be held on a monthly basis (second Thursdays), such as:
- Resource Development Day
- Business Engagement Day, etc.
- The 2025 Leadership MAX class will be announced at our MAX Annual Meeting on December 10, 2025. Here is a full schedule for 2025:
- Opening Retreat: Thursday and Friday, January 9-10
- Learning Day 1: Thursday, February 13
- Learning Day 2, Thursday, March 13
- Learning Day 3: Thursday, April 10
- Learning Day 4: Thursday, May 8
- Learning Day 5: Thursday, June 12
- Learning Day 6: Thursday, July 10
- Learning Day 7: Thursday, August 14
- Learning Day 8: Thursday, September 11
- Learning Day 9: Thursday, October 9
- Learning Day 10: Thursday, November 13
- Closing Program, Dinner, and Graduation: Thursday, December 11
