MAX RFP BOARD: CareerRise Seeks Proposals for Youth Service and Training Providers at Westside Works

September 1, 2024

CareerRise is accepting proposals from Metro Atlanta service and training providers to deliver youth training services and barrier reduction resources at Westside Works, targeting the 30314 and 30318 zip codes and schools such as Douglass High School, Washington High School, Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Best Academy, and KIPP Atlanta Collegiate.

Providers can propose services in youth training, which includes recruitment, job coaching, mentorship, and employer engagement, or in barrier reduction services such as childcare assistance, legal support, financial literacy, and administering training stipends.

Proposals should focus on creating strong community impact through skill development, support services, and employer partnerships. Please share this opportunity with your network. We look forward to your submissions!

Guidelines for Proposals

  • Program Overview: Provide a detailed description of the program, including curriculum, market demand, and career pathways.
  • Program Experience: Highlight successful job training and employment programs that meet workforce needs.
  • Target Community: Demonstrate the ability to recruit and serve youth from the Westside High Schools and the 30314, 30318, and Westside Promise Zones.
  • Past Success: Provide evidence of success in delivering similar services.

Ideal Applicants

Applicants should be capable of delivering services at the Westside Works location, virtually, or within the 10-county metro region accessible by public transit. They should leverage additional resources to holistically serve jobseekers, participate in centralized intake and data collection processes, prioritize recruitment from west Atlanta, and use a trauma-informed workforce development model.

If you’re interested in helping shape the future of youth in Metro Atlanta, we encourage you to submit your proposal.
