November 23, 2024

As pointed out by Udacity, part of Accenture, the adoption of AI is accelerating, but generational divides and gaps in training are creating new challenges and opportunities in the workplace. The 2025 State of AI at Work Report reveals essential insights into how professionals perceive, use, and feel about AI in their jobs. The report provides a data-driven look at AI in the workplace.

Udacity conducted a survey in September 2024 with 850 people from 87 countries and 22 industries who shared their use and perceptions of AI at work. The 2025 State of AI at Work report findings from the survey and third-party research on the state of in-demand AI skills and technology today and in the near future. Select findings shared in the report include:

  • 77% of people use AI tools as part of their work.
  • 87.8% of workers plan to pursue additional training and certification in AI skills.
  • 32.5% of workers say their organization provides necessary training.
