How has being a member of MAX benefitted you or your organization?
Being a member of MAX has kept us in the loop as to what our neighboring agencies have going on and how we can collaborate with them to better serve our participants.
How have you engaged through MAX in the past 12 months?
MAX Academy, MAX Minutes, MAX Mondays
Which MAX event do you most look forward to attending? Why?
I love any type of continuing education event or presentation. It is always great to take a deep dive into what others have been working on and how our agency can utilize their research and expertise.
How many years have you served in the workforce development profession?

Why do you serve in this profession? What motivates you or inspires you to do what you do?
I love to help people on their journey. If feels great to be able to connect an individual with a crucial component to their job search journey and watch them take that and reach their goals.
What is something you and/or your organization have accomplished in the past 12 months that you are most proud of?
Exceeding our goal wage. We have been finding better quality and better paying jobs for our participants and that feels great.
What are some emerging trends you see as affecting the job seekers and employers served through our profession?
The effects of AI on entry level positions.
Is there anything you believe that we, as a profession, should do differently in the future to best serve those we serve?
Continue to advocate for those who are disenfranchised and share how to advocate with others in the profession. Also, plan for AI and it’s effects on the people we serve.
What is a little-known fun fact about you?
I’m from Boston…..GA.
