In the months of June and July, our Leadership MAX Class of 2025 members have enjoyed opportunities to participate in job shadowing opportunities with organizations that provide exposure to new experiences in the “world of workforce development.” The purpose of these engagements has been to help our class members further career goals, expand their knowledge base, and gain new experiences with clients or in areas they have not served before, and challenge themselves in ways that help them achieve personal and professional growth.
Says one class member: “I left the day with new insight and a strong desire to support that work moving forward.” Says another: “I’ve watched several companies attempt to implement apprenticeship programs – many who are unable or unwilling to invest in Registered Apprenticeship Programs and most unwilling to invest in a dedicated team to oversee and execute the program on a full-time basis. But this week, I observed a well-designed, high-quality apprenticeship program.”
Special thanks to the nearly 30 organizations who have hosted our class members!
