MAX JOB BOARD: North Fulton Economic Alliance Seeks Program Manager for Workforce Development

The Talent and Workforce Manager will serve as the program manager for all talent pipeline and workforce development related efforts that will help position North Fulton as a top tier destination for talent and business. This position will also support the execution and implementation of the Alliance’s branding and marketing efforts, with a specific focus on talent and workforce. The successful candidate should be able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and stakeholders; have a robust understanding of existing talent and workforce development programs and seek innovative ways to engage the business community. The role will report to the Executive Director of the North Fulton Economic Alliance and will provide day-to-day support and leadership of several key initiatives that drive the region forward, including:

Talent & Workforce Development:

  • Explore and implement the US Chamber Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) to help close the skills gap
  • Connect employers and talent through internship and work-based learning programs
  • Manage the North Fulton Jobs platform and actively market to HR and talent acquisition leaders
  • Collaborate with area educational institutions and the business community to align current curriculum with employers’ future workforce needs
  • Participate in regular workforce development partner activities with North Fulton cities, Fulton Schools, Metro Atlanta Chamber, Select Fulton, State of Georgia, and other partners.
  • Research and track talent and workforce programs, wage and employment data and hiring trends
  • Maintain regional leadership for Camera Ready program.

Talent Attraction and Marketing:

  • Coordinate with the broader North Fulton regional branding and marketing efforts to position the region as a top destination for talent and workforce through various mediums including web copy, social media, story ideation, and campaign brainstorming, development, and execution
  • Partner with local and regional businesses and other organizations to identify and amplify talent attraction best practices
  • Lead alignment of branding and marketing efforts with talent attraction, retention and engagement strategy with a particular focus on developing the North Fulton Young Professionals
  • Actively brainstorm and research ways to leverage the Next Gen program for economic competitiveness, talent recruitment and retention efforts.
