The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta has opened applications for the Nonprofit Sector Sustainability Fund, a new initiative created to help metro Atlanta nonprofits experiencing financial pressures or funding disruptions.
Designed for nonprofits facing financial instability and funding disruptions, the Fund goes beyond traditional grantmaking. It offers a true partnership—one rooted in an understanding of the nonprofit’s mission and supported by the Foundation’s expertise, credibility, and deep community relationships. As Atlanta’s philanthropic center of gravity, the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta is committed to helping nonprofits strengthen long‑term financial stability.
What This Fund Offers
Ten organizations will receive:
- $100,000 over two years ($50,000 per year)
- Capacity building and technical assistance, including:
- Monthly cohort convenings (virtual or in person)
- Coaching, training, and support focused on:
- Financial sustainability
- Funding diversification
- Scenario planning
- Strategic partnerships
Support will be provided in partnership with Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF).
