The Technical College System of Georgia has opened applications to Georgia employers who are interested in hiring or upskilling workers in Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, and Energy. With the Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund (IDSTF), Georgia employers can receive up to $7,000 per employee to offset training costs such as specialized instruction, technical materials, and credentialing. This program is funded through a $5 million grant provided by the U.S. Department of Labor.
With this grant, TCSG will reimburse Georgia employers in advanced manufacturing, energy, and construction industries for upskilling new hires and current employees. The federally funded grant program focuses on high-demand and high-wage careers. Training funds will be disbursed during multiple application rounds.
Applications are now opened until April 9, 2026.
