MAX ALERT: Technical College System of Georgia Extends Deadline for Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund

April 12, 2026

Looking to bring on new talent or quickly upskill your current team? Georgia employers in Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, and Energy can apply for training reimbursement through the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Via the Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund (IDSTF), eligible businesses may be reimbursed up to $7,000 per employee to help cover training costs, including specialized instruction, technical materials, and credentialing. This opportunity is backed by a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.

The federally funded grant program focuses on high-demand and high-wage careers. Whether you’re onboarding new hires or investing in your current workforce, IDSTF can help stretch your training budget and build job-ready skills.

The application window has been extended to April 23, 2026.

Learn more and apply at tcsg.edu/trainingfund.
