Grant funds may be used to support programs that foster job skill development, pathways to employment, career readiness, and college readiness.
The Thriving Communities Grant Program promotes economic development, supports vibrant community life, and helps ensure equitable access to basic necessities. All grant recipients must be located within Norfolk Southern’s territory. Grants are awarded only for specific projects and programs and may not be used for general operating support.
