MAX Congratulates Board Leaders Breezy Straton and Brett Lacy on Their Recent Honors and Career Milestones

May 17, 2026

MAX proudly congratulates Breezy Straton on her recent promotion to President of Elevate Douglas Economic Partnership and Brett Lacy on his induction into the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2026. Both Breezy and Brett have provided outstanding leadership and service to MAX and our broader network through their longstanding involvement on the MAX Board of Directors.

A founding chair of the MAX Member Engagement Council, Breezy also served as co-chair of the inaugural Leadership MAX Class of 2025 and continues to help guide and support the Leadership MAX Class of 2026. Her leadership, energy, and commitment to strengthening connections across the workforce and economic development communities have made a lasting impact on the MAX network.

In both his former role with WorkSource Fulton and his current role with WorkSource Atlanta Regional, Brett has served as MAX’s WorkSource Metro Atlanta liaison, helping foster strong collaboration and alignment among metro Atlanta’s five local workforce boards and the broader workforce ecosystem. Brett has also played a key leadership role in Leadership MAX, serving as board lead for multiple learning days for both the Class of 2025 and the Class of 2026.

Now in its 23rd year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 program recognizes leaders who are shaping the future of the Atlanta region and making a difference through professional excellence and community engagement. Congratulations, Brett, on this well-deserved recognition after years in leadership with WorkSource Metro Atlanta, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and WorkSource Georgia.

MAX also celebrates Breezy’s years of leadership and service with the Elevate Douglas Economic Partnership, a public-private partnership dedicated to advancing economic development and fostering a strong business climate in Douglas County — and her impact on our region and state as a whole. Congratulations, Breezy, on your well-deserved promotion to President and this exciting new chapter in your leadership journey.
