This September, CareerRise marks 15 years serving Metro Atlanta’s workforce ecosystem and is celebrating alongside National Workforce Development Month. As part of that milestone, CareerRise invites workforce partners to join in on two signature events this fall.
Rising Together Fundraiser
On Tuesday, September 15th, CareerRise will host its Rising Together Fundraiser at 8West in Atlanta. This event brings together 150+ business, civic, and nonprofit leaders to celebrate workforce achievements and invest in the talent development ecosystem that keeps Atlanta competitive. The evening will feature stories of career transformation, recognition of outstanding employer and community partners, and the presentation of the CareerRise Workforce Champion Award to Milton Little. Workforce Excellence Summit
On Wednesday, September 30th, CareerRise will host its Workforce Excellence Summit at Zoo Atlanta, its signature convening that brings together workforce practitioners, training providers, funders, employers, and worker advocates for a day of thought leadership and celebration. This year’s Summit will feature a keynote address, panel discussions, and the presentation of the Workforce Excellence Awards, honoring organizations making significant contributions to workforce partnerships and quality careers across metro Atlanta.
