MAX Minutes with Public Policy Experts
The Metro Atlanta eXchange for Workforce Solutions (MAX) is hosting MAX Minutes with Public Policy Experts on Friday, April 17th, at 9:00 AM, via Zoom.
During the 2026 Georgia General Assembly legislative session, lawmakers considered several workforce and education initiatives for Georgians—from bridging the skills gap through apprenticeships and improving K–3 literacy to fostering housing stability for workers and addressing shortages in the healthcare workforce.
To break down what passed—and what to watch next—public policy leaders Tim Cairl, Vice President of Talent Development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, and Daniela Perry, Executive Director of the Georgia Chamber Foundation, will again join MAX for their annual recap. They’ll review legislation that advanced through both chambers, highlight other key outcomes from the session, and share early insights on what to expect heading into the 2027 legislative session.
