The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) is hosting Virtual Office Hours: Pre-Apprenticeship Presentation and Extended Q&A on Tuesday, October 27th, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Join NAWDP for Virtual Office Hours focused on Training and Employment Notice (TEN) 05-26 (released on September 8th) on Effective Framework for Pre-Apprenticeship. NAWDP will explore the U.S. Department of Labor’s updated Framework for Effective Pre-Apprenticeships, including the five core components of effective programs and how workforce and education partners can strengthen pathways into Registered Apprenticeship. Following the two presentations, participants will have the opportunity to join a breakout room Q&A based on their interests. Choose the breakout room that best fits your questions: Pre-Apprenticeship, Registered Apprenticeship, or the Care Economy. Come ready to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from experts and colleagues working to expand apprenticeship opportunities.
