The National League of Cities (NLC), in partnership with U.S. Digital Response, is hosting a two-hour, hands-on session designed to help staff apply AI tools to real-world translation challenges. Clear, timely communication is essential for serving multilingual communities. This workshop explores how generative AI can help local governments produce faster, more cost-effective translations while maintaining high standards for accuracy, readability and cultural relevance. The session emphasizes how AI can augment—not replace—human expertise in public sector communications. This is an interactive, technical workshop, and space for this event needs to be limited.
