The National League of Cities (NLC) is hosting a webinar on Supporting Employee Health While Managing Health Care Costs on Thursday, October 29th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Cities are facing a difficult balancing act: health care costs continue to rise while cities are simultaneously managing tight budgets, recruiting and retaining talent in tight labor markets, and growing demands for competitive employee benefits. Employer health benefits costs are projected to increase 6.5% per employee in 2026. Through NLC’s partnership with Bearing Advisors, Prevent+Protect offers local governments a different approach to employee benefits, while helping cities manage costs without requiring a new benefit appropriation or reducing employee take-home pay.
During this webinar, Jim Hunt and Mike Conduff will explain how Prevent+Protect works and how its three-part approach—Physical Health, Mental Health and Financial Health—is designed to strategically address the factors driving health care utilization and costs.
