The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – Atlanta is hosting a webinar on Recognizing and Addressing Addiction in the Workplace on Tuesday, October 14^th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

If you’ve managed or supervised employees for any length of time, chances are you’ve encountered someone dealing with a substance abuse disorder, whether or not it was clear at the time. Research suggests that up to 10% of employees may be struggling with drug or alcohol-related issues. Identifying addiction in a work setting can be challenging. During this program, you’ll learn to recognize early signs through a clinical lens, how to have supportive conversations, and discover insights for creating policies that align with best practices in addiction and mental health treatment.
