MISSION

WorkSource DeKalb’s mission through strategic planning and preparation is to bridge the gap between Education, Employment and Economic Development, known as our E3 business strategy. This recognized concept of strategic alignment is to impress upon both businesses and job seekers the cyclical nature of economic development as it relates to workforce development.

WorkSource DeKalb (WSD) focuses on demand-driven workforce solutions by providing data and resources for businesses seeking a skilled workforce. WSD also provides workforce solutions for dislocated workers, the unemployed, low-income adults and youth.

The overall purpose of WSD is to provide a collaboration of service organizations providing unified education, training and employment programs for job seekers, and workforce development services to businesses. WSD is a comprehensive one- stop center with a host of partnering agencies.
