Diabetes alone is an epidemic that drives 1 in 4 health care dollars spent, and disease mismanagement drives these costs higher and productivity lower. Chronic diseases – and diabetes, in particular – are significant cost drivers for health plans. Are companies inadvertently adding to these costs through their health plan design?
